Margaret Powell of Nanteos. Margaret Louisa Joan Pryse born 7 March 1861 daughter of Pryse Loveden Pryse and Louisa Joan Lewes Pryse of Gogerddan.
She married Edward Athelstan Lewis Powell of Nanteos on 4 February 1897. They had one son William Edward George Pryse Wynne Powell born in 1899.
Sadly, her only died in 1899, and her husband Edward died in 1930. Margaret Powell continued to run the estate until her death in 1951.
With the death of Edward, she managed the estate for over 20 years single handed, with only a small group of staff to help.
